Types of Supplements I Take
Thorne Research is one of the well-known pharmaceutical and nutritional formulation companies that operate in the field of health and nutrition supplements.
It is renowned for its specialization in developing and manufacturing high-quality nutritional supplements and health-related products.
In my case, I discovered and purchased Thorne Research supplements based on recommendations from YouTube.
I found it convenient and liked the idea of not needing to acquire a multitude of different supplements.
When I initially bought nutritional supplements, I did a lot of research and studied to ensure I was getting the right ones, considering factors like exceeding recommended dosages and avoiding deficiencies.
Now, I can’t even remember the specific criteria I used to make my initial purchases!
Regardless, I selected the combination that I considered ideal based on my own standards.

I had always assumed that iHerb would naturally be cheaper and continued to make purchases there, but when I checked today, it turns out that Coupang is much more affordable.

The product I’m featuring here is “basic nutrients,” and it’s recommended to take one capsule twice a day.

The more I look at the price, the angrier I get…
I recently made a purchase based on the captured iHerb price… Haha.
For this product, the recommended dosage is one capsule three times a day.
But because I’m a bit lazy, I just take it twice like I do with the Basic nutrients above.
NOW Foods – Ultra Omega3 Fish Oil

Nevertheless, this one is cheaper on iHerb. Gives a bit of consolation…
Even just consuming these three sets above provides almost all the necessary nutrients.
Some say there’s a slight deficiency in vitamin K, but to include it in this combination, you’d have to consume many different supplements, potentially exceeding recommended levels, so I decided to pass on that.
This combination already includes folic acid, which is great!
I recently received Lutein Omega from my parents, along with CoQ10, so I’m temporarily postponing the consumption of Now Foods Ultra Omega.

Packaging and Delivery
They were delivered in a box, and Now Foods Ultra Omega-3 was already opened because it was something I had been consuming previously!
Taste
Well, they are supplements, so it’s not about the taste. I’d like to describe how I feel after taking them.
First, regarding the scent, Omega-3 has that distinctive smell that many people are familiar with, while the scent of Thorne Research Basic Nutrients isn’t very pleasant.
Also, it’s recommended to take one capsule twice a day, but I found that taking two capsules at once made my stomach feel a bit heavy, and I experienced more gas.
It took me a while to realize that this might be the reason, and once I switched to taking one capsule at a time, it was much better.
So, you may want to consider this when taking them.
